One point(s) to keep in mind; When you purchase a rig from Ten-Tec, such as
the Argonaut V, Jupiter, and/or Orion, you are not necessarily "done".
Ten-Tec continues to work on the rigs even after they have been sold AND
they provide FREE updates! It IS true that some of these updates are
"fixes" for problems BUT many are totally new features! FREE! (well - you
do "have" to buy the radio first)
How many of you have had the experience of buying the latest
"YaeComWood" rig for $X,XXX.XX only to see, a few months later, that the
version 2 is available for the same price and your version is now on sale
for 20% off AND you get a free "something" with it! BEEN THERE - DONE
THAT!! That is something that definitely passes the "Oreck Challenge"!
As mentioned - with Ten-Tec the latest version of the rig is only as far
away as the Internet. Look at how the Ten-Tec rigs hold their value as
compared to those "other" rigs!
