Hi Tim,

Well unless (like me...) you live in Europe, with all the multi-kW broadcast
on 7.100 MHz and up, you will not notice it at all.
The phase-noise values are important if you use the rig as IF to
UHF/Microwaves, but I think the Omni-VI+ is having comparable phasenoise to
the K2?

Folks -
In the real world outside the laboratory what are the following differences
truly going to mean to me? What might I actually experience that would be
extremely obvious to me? They are from the Elecraft website.
             Omni VI+           K2
Ip3            +12               +21.6
Ip2             58                76
BDR 5kHz        86                88
BDR 20kHz      123               136

Do these differences truly have significance that can be heard outside the
