And some have the reset function embedded in the program such that when it
is complete, the radio is ready to use.

Nothing important one way or the other, but just a touch of convenience that
ensures that the install goes as planned and that the user is not involved.

But, Stuart is right - much of the time, a reset of some sort or a reboot or
whatever is required and is a good first thing to try if there is a problem.
