Old news here Pete ... "the other guys" have been doing this for YEARS.

That's why everyone wanted the Omni VI to have the 2nd rcvr ... B-)

Different from an Omni VI perhaps, but not from the other top tier rigs
It's still your basic 1.5 rigs in a box, nothing new in that basic design.

When did the FT1000D come out? How many YEARS ago ...

A better execution certainly ... but the basic concept is old news
with 'new news' as to DSP filtering, and more flexible options.

The next move will be to see how the JA's respond ... Dayton?

B-)   ... I can't blame TT for copying much of the JA ideas ... it sure
will help them to sell more Orions ... black, 2nd rcvr, monitor, etc.
