When promulgating your esoteric cogitations or articulating your
superficial sentimentalities and amicable philosophical and
psychological observations, beware of platitudinous ponderosity. Let
your verbal evaporations have lucidity, intelligibility, and
veracious vivacity without rodomontade or thespian bombast.
Sedulously avoid all polysyllabic profundity, pompous propensity, and
sophomoric vacuity.
Anent the implication that rednecks shoot up road signs, that's a base
callumny. Rednecks have too many children and dogs to waste expensive
shotgun shells on anything they cannot eat.
The most common source of holes in highway signs are addicts, who are usually
in transit between their latest burglary and their pusher. They empty their
loot at anything that doesn't move so the pusher can't shoot them, and keep
both the guns and the drugs. The second most common source of perforation is
metorites.
