My initial impression from studying the gigaparts web site pix on a 19" 
monitor  was the 7800 was a mockup with a translucent panel instead of a 
display. 
That seems confirmed by recent comments. 

Really vaporware? In all probability Icom will come out with a radio. When, 
how much in USD, and the specifications are all seemingly up in the air.
