There was quite a bit of discussion when the rig first
can out. A seperate 516 group was started on yahoo
which has cut the number of post here. This is way I
don't like the seperate groups.
I use my 516 all the time and have found it to be a
great rig. The 20 watts will work well with the mini
beam, have worked over a hundred countries on SSB at 5
watts to an indoor dipole.
It comes with a hand mic, so you will not have to get
another one and the power supply you have for the 50
watt rig will do fine.
Mine sees use with the Ten-Tec 6 to 20 transverter
also.
