In addition to the terminating resistors, an efficient broadband balun adds significantly to the cost.

Really not that hard to build from scratch, especially for a $240 price tag,
and will multiband if fed with a tuner and homebrew feeders (or 300-450 line).
Biggest problem is the termination resistors, and you need (or don't need)
them, depending on what you are trying to do with the antenna. If I remember
right, Cebik has some info about v-beams on his home page. I know I've seen
homebrew terminating resistor articles somewhere.

Think I'll just build one here and save $150-200.
