Good idea. 

Figured out how to set that up.  List is now closed and
no new members can join;  no new messages can
now be posted, and unfortunately,  only "old" members
can gain access to the archive of messages -- all 19 or 
so months worth.  Unfortunately,  no way for every one to
gain access to the archive without opening up for
membership again -- no point.

Will just leave things this way for now.

Just go to TenTec_Orion group,  and there will be
the archives.
