But why start a "new" group? If you can really make a legitimate case for
it, why not reactivate the original Orion group? (It hasn't been deleted,
merely deactivated, it can be reactivated in seconds) If the current
owner(s) & moderator(s) of the original group no longer wish to run it
(which I know nothing about either way) then why not offer to assume
ownership of it?
Sorry, but I feel that I have missed out on a lot since the list began
fracturing, and I'm tired of constantly joining splinter groups. To say
nothing of the fact that I am forced to get enough multiple copies of
Yahoo-related spam from the groups I do either own (which means that I CAN'T
submit bogus information as some suggest) or belong to; eight copies of each
is bad enough, I don't need nine or ten!
