In Europe, "Stick Shifts" are about $1000 to $1500 CHEAPER than
automatics!
Different strokes for different folks!

I think I know the "right" answer to the question of transistor
vs. tube amps:

Just have one (or more) of each!

Hello, regarding tube vs. SS: Tube amp/ move from 160 to 80,
reload and retune, 80 to 40, reload and retune, move from lower
end of 80-upper end of 75, reload and retune. Herc II with remote
cable: switch bands and go. (touch up tuner if you have one)
There will always be people who prefer automatic transmissions in
their cars, and some who prefer Stick Shifts. The only problem
with this analogy is automatic transmissions are usually cheaper
in cars than stickshifts nowdays. 73.
