Jim, that's not fully correct about the OMNI VI+.
Although the "preferred" way is to purchase the special "Data"
filter, it is also possible to use the standard 500 Hz filter and
just adjust the bandpass tuning to compensate for the 500 Hz
offset.  I ran lots of RTTY that way with the OMNI V, VI and VI+.

Sri, I didn't test the ORION on RTTY.

I am curious if anyone has tried an Orion on RTTY (FSK) and how
well the DSP
filtering works.  I'm remembering when I had an OMNI VI / Option
3 and had
to have a special RTTY crystal filter, which wasn't a plus (no
pun intended)
as far as I was concerned, as it took a precious slot just for
that mode.
