I contacted Garry Green at the TT factory and the C107 mod is also approved
for the Pegasus. The capacitor is labelled on the Pegasus PC board,
unfortunately, the capacitor covers the label. Garry helped me locate the
capacitor.

With the cover removed, lay the Pegasus on the side so that the power switch
is below the headphone jack. As you face the radio, the speaker should be to
your left. On the side nearer the speaker of the PC board on top, locate
the trim pot labelled "SWR". C107 is about an inch closer to the front of
the Pegasus and adjacent to a crystal. It is the only capacitor on that side
(left side) of the PC board.

You should first verify that your Pegasus doesn't already have a 2.2 mF
capacitor installed.

At Garry's, suggestion, I removed the old capacitor by working it back and
forth (gently) until the leads broke. I then soldered the replacent on the
top side of the board. This saved having to remove the board from the radio.
The holes are plated through so soldering in the top is acceptable.

It did make a difference. Now my Pegaus goes right up to 100+ watts on voice
peaks according to the internal meter display.

73,
Mark
