Hello all on the list.
I spoke to Paul Clinton this afternoon and he informed me the boards for the
tuners are no longer available.
I am in need of the SWR bridge/power meter board for the 229 tuner that mounts
on the rear panel.
Mine is actually the kit version 4229 but either will work, and I think the 238
used the same board.
I know this is a long shot, but if I could find one of these it would be super
nice.
Also, if someone could take a high resolution picture of the board in their
tuner it would be a help.
The picture in the assembly manual is very dark. If I had a clear picture, I
may be able to investigate building a replacement.
I bought the tuner knowing the board was not included, so it's the chance you
take buying something not knowing
if parts are available. It pays to make a phone call first. Other than that
it's a beautiful piece and works great!
If anyone happens to have one of these, or is willing to share a picture of
their board, it would be greatly appreciated.
