Thanks. Now I know that mine was not the only Orion that had a failed
logic/dsp board. TT says boards should be in by end of this week. I suffered
thru the 160 ssb and must suffer thru the arrl dx ssb this coming weekend
without my beloved Orion receiver. Sure hope it comes back soon. It ain't the
same using a "normal" receiver after having the Orion for a few months. Thank
God they were not cw contests. Not finding fault, premature discreet failures
are part of the game. Just sorry it happened to mine in the middle of contest
season. Mine simply quit sending good cw, it got the jitters.
Thanks to Scott for setting us straight...no h/w changes at this point. Rumors
abound, facts are not popular conversation issues.
