The phones are 72 ohm impedence.  This clicking occurs in all modes that
I have used (USB, LSB, UCW & LCW).  Filter selection does not make a
difference.  It is noticeable on any quiet band with the volume turned
up above halfway.

Binaural isn't really designed for use on voice modes.  It was dintended

as a CW only feature.

No, that's a new one.  What mode, etc.  I just did a quick check and
don't 
find anything in the phones due to sweep.  What is the impedance of the 
phones you are using?
