Is there one I should get with the Orion?

9001.5 kHz filters will work in the first bank of Orion
filters (1000 Hz and above). 9000.75 kHz will work in the
second bank (500 and 250 slots), however the additional
amplifier stage degrades IMD performance when using these
slots which is why several of us ordered a 600 Hz @ 9001.5 kit
from Inrad (#352) to replace the stock 1000 Hz filter.

Orion comes with a 2400 Hz, but it is only 4-pole. It
also has a slot for an optional 1800 Hz filter. The Auto
Filter mode switches the 2400 in at about 2000 Hz DSP BW and
the 1800 in at about 1400 Hz, so if you really want to use
a narrow SSB filter in the 1800 slot, you need to "lock" it
on so you can use it above 1400 Hz.

If neither filter needs to stay with your Omni, I would
put the 2400 in Orion's 2400 slot and put the 2100 in the 1800
slot (remembering the caveat above). If you need to leave one
with the Omni, put the 2100 in Orion's 1800 slot. When using
any narrow SSB filter in Orion, it helps to set PBT to +150 to
+200 and also Audio RX EQ -10 dB (improves intelligibility).
