Does anyone have the schematics for these tuners? I would think
that would be one way to figure it out. I'm only interested because
I'm in the middle of trying to figure it all out so I can purchase a
"Linked" Balanced tuner. There is an interesting article in the
February 1990 issue of QST on "A Balanced Balanced Antenna
Tuner" by Richard L. Measures, (AG6K). Currently I am using a
borrowed "Matchmaster" which seems to work well but is also very
pricey. According to the manual it is a "balanced version of the
unbalanced versatile "L" network." Currently I am using a loop,
perimeter of about 139 feet and fed with 450 ohm twin lead (not open
wire). So I was hoping that the Palstar might be a good
compromise even thought the tuning range may not be as wide.
Any help would be appreciated.
