Well my hearing is not completely gone. With the Orion by itself, and with
the audio turned all the way down, and with my ear within 6 inches of the
front of the Orion, I can hear no relay clatter when I'm keying CW. Course
when I use my Titan 3, the relays in the Titan make a pretty loud racket. I
well understand that the nature of relays is to click, but if I have to put
my ear on the radio chassis to hear it, to me it is not making noise.
