I was referring to new INRAD filters to come.

Let's not lose perspective on this, the Orion is -by far- the best receiver
performance available today. Plenty of objective reports with testing
numbers are on hand to back this up. We've had lots of positive reviews
on the radio, including Rob Sherwood's presentation, ON4UN's report,
the ARRL, DARC, RSGB...and on from there.

There are a number of complicated factors that go into the very small
roofing filter bandwidths receiver performance of the Orion. We've been
talking about this for quite some time, even before Rob's presentation
and there isn't any other answer at the moment except we're looking
into it further. Substituting an Inrad filter in the 500 Hz and 250 Hz will
not gain anything over the #217 and #219 optional filters we're using.
