HI Jerry: Well, my Orion and the amps are built in and it's a real pain to get
them out single handed - but it is set up with two versions of Titan, so I can
only speak about the keying loop - and not the external line to an amp keying
relay.

Setting the "PTT as" to either MOX or NONE disables the keying line on the
accessory DIN plug. Neither of the keying loop amps are engaged at key closure
when the PTT as is engaged unless the PTT is set to key, in which case the
accessory keying line is active and everything works normally.

However, if yours seems to work differently, an ohmmeter across the keying
relay line (pull the line at the amp and measure between the center pin and the
shield) should give you a solid indication of what's engaged and what's not. If
yours works as you describe it might be worth while to call factory service.
Some of these minor glitches have been corrected almost overnight in the past.
