        My K-2 cable had Orion pin 7 to SteppIR pin 4.  I think that you
will find that Orion pin 7 to SteppIR pin 7 with SteppIR pin 7 connected to
pin 9 will also work.  That is how mine is configured and the SteppIR will
track the Orion frequency.

        Now, if I could get the SteppIR back operational.  But, that is a
different subject.
