Yesterday I talked to Jack Burchfield about the problems with the rcvr audio
and a few other minor problems.
I received an e-mail from him and did the RAM dump.
You hold the VFO B Lock and turn on the radio
Then do a master reset
The radio "Orion" has been on the air for about 30 hours with NO problems
with the audio.
My hats off to Jack at Ten Tec.
This has cured the audio, mic gain, and contrast of the display.
I still have browning around the edges of the white background with black
letters. I have switched to the black background and it's ok.
I have not used the sweep display
This should make a useable rig.
Questions:
Has anyone used a scope with the Orion to check Trapezoid patterns ??????
Can I get a low level RF out on all bands from the transverter output
??????
I also have a panadapter and would like an IF output. This should be
nothing more then a cap from the IF to a RCA connector.
