This doesn't change the pitch but it might help.

Here's a pitch changing freeware that you can experiment with.

If nothing else, it's good for a laugh.

Subject: [TenTec] Audio Problem - off topic

My apologies for bringing this to the list but I thought I'd take advantage
of the reflector's collective expertise.

I have a friend with a significant hearing problem. He can adjust the rig
CW sidetone to copy signals BUT on SSB he's finding it more problematic. As
his hearing has degraded he is finding it harder and harder to understand
the SSB audio delivered by his rig. The audio is strong enough but the
frequencies delivered are muffled in his hearing range.

Now the question. Is there any add-on device that can be used to take the
rig audio and shift it up or down a few hundred hertz in an attempt to
optimize my friend's limited hearing range?

Any assistance would be appreciated. Please contact me off list! Thanks!

Rick
