Jerald, The way the problem cleared itself, I would suspect a xtal problem, where it jumped mode, and was shocked back to normal mode frequency when you changed power off and on. Might be the crystal involved with 20m mixing scheme, since it was band specific. Might not recur, or might be a voltage regulator problem with oscillation. That could be caused by a bad filter cap on a certain voltage bus for the oscillators or mixer. Again, something that resetting power fixed for now. If it recurs, those items should be checked, regulated voltages first. But, since it was band specific, I think the xtal is the most likely. 73, Stuart K5KVH |
