My first Ten Tec was a Corsair, replacing a C-line. I thought it was a great
CW rig. The radio's smooth QSK is what hooked me on Ten-Tec.
A few years later I bought a Corsair II and loved the QSK & the receiver.
Several years later purchased an OMNI 6. It a fantastic radio for CW.
Once available upgraded that with mod 3 and used that radio hard for years,
mainly cw.
Operating with an Orion for a year. It's a wonderful radio and more
importantly hears everything.
The OMNI 6 IMO was the smoothest for CW.

The only TT rig I've ever used is an Omni V that I'm pretty fond of. I
wonder if TT has ever produced a better rig for the casual CW operator? (The
Orion
is out of my league). I'm mainly interested in weak signal performance and
pleasant QSK below 40 WPM.
What's YOUR favorite? Has anyone that's used an OMNI V found a TT
significantly more satisfying?
