1. With rig facing you, turn it over. 2. Remove bottom cover. 3. remove bottom shield. 4. On the left rear you have 2 optional filter slots. Don't use those. 5. There is a filter on the far left (non optional). This is your 2.4khz. 6. Remove this 2.4khz and insert the 2.8khz filer. This completes the 9 mhz filter installation. 7. The filter board on the right is your 6.3mhz IF. It has 4 slots. 8. The far rear one is the non-optional 2.4khz filter. 9. Replace it with your 2.8khz filter. 10 You are done.
