Hello Everyone,
I just bought a 263 remote VFO for my Corsair. Seems to work fine except on
17 meters. On that band there's a sudden jump in SWR from 1.0 to about
1.3:1 when power is increased above a few watts, power output is a bit low
(about 80 watts versus 100 watts on other bands), it's necessary to crank
the drive up higher than on other bands to engage the ALC (~6.5 vs 4 on
other bands), and there's a clear difference in receive signal strength when
switching between the A and B VFOs when they're tuned to the same frequency.
None of these problems occur on other bands and the problems with SWR, drive
and output power go away when the 263 is disconnected.
Anyone got any ideas on what the problem might be?
