The raspy speaker in the power supply upon warm up sounds like warping of the speaker frame due to heat and unequal mounting bolt torque. Try loosening all the screws on speaker and then tightening just snug, while listening to it. Heat over time might have warped the voice coil, and in its throw, it is dragging at a point. If you cannot find any suitable torque, try another speaker temporarily next to the faulty one. That should resolve any RF issue. Do not overly torque speaker mountings especially when mounted in a cabinet with a heat source. -Stuart K5KVH |
