The problem is not with the person reading the posts;
the underlying problem is with the person writing and sending the posts.
Many of us read the posts in the Archives, and even the most up-to-date
Windows browsers do not include automatic carriage returns for reading
these posts. The sender's email program needs to be set up to provide
carriage returns. Once upon a time, netiquette suggested that users
insert carriage returns (Enter-key) every 65 characters or so to make
sure that everyone could read there messages. That protocol is still
followed by the majority of posters.
