In Bob Finger's message, I agree that the list moderator shouldn't spend 
time truncating messages.

For those using Outlook Express, here's how it's done:

Select TOOLS
Select OPTIONS from the pull down menu.
Select the SEND tab
Then un-check the box "Include message in reply."
Select APPLY and then OK


That's it folks.  Now that wasn't too difficult was it?
