I think it means what it say, code will no longer be required for any
USA ham license. The other frightening thing is their 'new'
definition of the amateur radio service. You notice that it is no
longer considered an emergency communication vehicle. Therefore
opening the possibility of almost any commercial reason for grabbing
ham radio frequencies away from us 'hobbiest'.

But this has all been a long coming stance...certainly make it so
much easier for the radio manufacturers to no longer be concerned
about CW performance in any of their new radios.

Can you see any difference between a ham license and the CB lincense?
Oh yea, the dumbed down test!!

Enjoy it while you can.
