I have the best of all worlds, retired, divorced ( over 10 years,),and
enough income to play. I want a radio, I buy what I want, when I want, and
don't
ask any one for permission. I help other hams, I support several charities, and
help friends and family, and still have enough left to play.

There is a reason why divorce is so expensive , its worth it.

Actually, I've been blessed with a wonderful wife who supports my hamming
(it keeps me at home and happy), who bought me the new Ten Tec Triton
Digital (544)--an incredible rig--with remote VFO, 160 M converter, etc. for
our tenth wedding anniversary many years ago, and has bought, as presents,
every rig I've ever owned, including the recent purchase of a new Ten Tec
Centurion and a High Sierra HS-1800 screwdriver for the car, not to mention
additional batteries in the RV for hamming! Greg, N6GK
