As a person who has operated a fair amount of QRP , and got HONEST signal
reports in QRP contests, I cannot see the difference in trying to dig out a
QRP signal, or a DX station that I need that is just above the noise and
poor copy regardless of how much power he is running.

When we go to Miquelon for vacation we use verticals and 100w. I am sure
that some of the stations we have worked had very poor copy (weak sig), as
some of the ones we worked were also very weak.
I have receieved a fair amount of QSLs that were running QRP and I have
always been happy to confirm them.

QRP is just another of the many things about this great hobby. It is a good
thing that everyone doesn't like the same thing. Something for everyone.
