Here is my two cents....the above is obviously true.
Heck, if I take my old Corsair II, connect it to a good antenna....no
signals at all on the band, and turn all knobs to the right....I get massive
band noise...ocean noise.
If I make matters worse, and turn off AGC, I get blown halfway across the
shack.
You must operate the equipment correctly guys.
