Thanks. I always hold my breath when changing the firmware. Right now I am
using the rig on COM5 via a UART based Rocketport. Do you know of any
reason I should go to the built in COM1? It's a bear to get to the back of
the PC and I don't want to crawl back there if not necessary?

It doesn't matter. Same software. I've recently the same Update.exe for
both my Orion II and 565 Orion with various firmware versions.
