[TenTec] Paragon and 307?

I am in the process of purchasing a Paragon 586. I had a question as to  
whether the 307 external speaker was a good investment as opposed to just the  
speaker in the 961 PS. I have reviewed the archives and there seems to be a  
wide 
range of comments an opinions. I guess hearing from PARAGON owners  would be 
helpful.
 
(I know there is no color scheme to match the 586 so would probably look  for 
the 307B if I go that route.)
