I have a DOS program that runs up to over 200K to do laplink functions
on the serial port. Surely that's possible. I've not found my DOS
references lately, but I might find them deep down some pile. I know I
have run a serial program at 19,2 Kb on a 286. In the background, though
I had to keep it down to 9600 to not miss incoming satellite data while
formatting a floppy in the foreground.
