Barb,
     Try cycling the band switch back and forth thru
all positions. Don't spray tunner lub/cleaner on the
switch. So far I have fixed several tentec radios in
such a fachion. Remember the simple checks, is your
power supply voltage correct? A change in PS voltage
during transmit will cause major distortion in the
output signal.

     Hope this helps. Are you using an electronic
keyer? A leaky transistor in a electronic keyer can
also cause CW distortion.
