:-) got some old, really old, 80M buddies who still use tubes, yeah, those 
empty things!! Work fine until "tig" the little tube fairy thing goes out 
:-) No glow, no go !

Funny how we seem to think SDRs are going to be better .................

We used my Omni C for field day with a horiz loop up about 20-25 feet, and a
238 tuner.

No hitches, no glitches, no crashes, just lots of Qs on a quiet receiver.
