The big problem is accessing the diodes! Rick, VE7TK, sent me a link to 
his website and the instructions on how to do the disassembly and I'm 
beginning to have second thoughts about taking it apart.

It may be the finals and I don't have gear to test them, so I can see it 
going back to TenTec UK for the repair.....
