Hi Mike,
FLdigi  is quite easy to get going in PCLinux OS .  I used it for
along time, in the shack but have gone to Debian now.  all you need to
get fldigi working in pclinux is go to synapitc and install the fltk
development files.  then just unzip the downloaded FLdigi file to a
folder in your home directory . it's all installed.  no need to do any
other install.
 you can make an launcher on your desktop if you like and run it from
there works great.
