The Elecraft XG-1 or XG-2 mini modules are inexpensive and perfect for
alignment and checking sensitivity.
XG-1 is 40 meters only and the XG-2 is 80, 40, and 20 meters. The output is
selectable between 50 microvolts and 1 microvolt. The output level is
stable and very accurate. (and no computer required!)
