I would surely love a copy as well.

So sorry that you have been inundated with requests.

Thanks for doing this.

I should have asked,
"Does anyone else NOT want a copy?" :)

I left town Friday afternoon for a Doc Watson
concert in Harrisburg, PA (GREAT!)
and just got back home and in email contact
a little bit ago. My inbox is full again
and Ten-Tec is full today.
Probably NJQRP and qrp-l are as well.
Next time I will plan bett...

I had sent out 4 mass mailings of increasing size
of all the requests that had arrived before I left.
If you sent a note before that and didn't get
the text file and envelope image, try again.
I could have easily overlooked/lost somebody.

There have been a few requests for the text image files
and for paper copies. I will try to get to those
early next week.

There have been offers to post the letter on websites
and to publish it. Sam explicitly wrote,
" ... extra copies as needed ... "
So I take that as blanket permission.
As for the original paper copy,
there are candidates for an appropriate home TBD.

As for the content, it seems best summed up by:
"Tnx for the file. Had not seen this before.
I tried this method years back. I agree it works.
Perry w8au"

I am trying to contact Sam's friend Gil Gray, now N2GG,
to whom the letter was originally sent
and who gave it to me,
but none of the addresses I have found on QRZ
or Buckmaster work. Anyone know?

Cheers, 73,

Ron McC.
