Thanks John!

Ron, you can at your leisure strike me off of the list of those requesting
the document!

Yea!

There is now at least one web site
with the SFBM III W6FZZ letter so far
and at least a couple more soon.

John DeGood, NU3E

   <http://degood.org/hamradio/samuel_fb_morse_iii/>

THANKS, John!

 .and.

Martin, OK1RR, and Art Trampler, K0RO
have offered to put it on their web sites.

 .and.

I think there may have been another one
that seems to have been swept away in the flood.
(Or maybe the relevant brain cells have faded ou...)

John has a pdf version of the text with
some more edits that make it look more
like the original paper pages.
He also has the jpg images of the envelope
and pages scanned with a little more
compression/smaller-file than mine.

I have found that the free Foxit pdf reader
is faster than the free Adobe reader.
Do a google if you don't have it.
About 2.2MB for the 2.2 version.

SO...
All you patient folks who have requested a copy,
and haven't received it yet, try the two web sites.
If you can't download it, get back to me.

There are also requests for paper from some
who are still on dial-up internet access.
I will wait a bit and see how many more come in.

So far, there has been _one_ "Do not send!" :)
Thanks, Bill, W7KXB!

When I get a chance to come up for a breath,
maybe I can put my own web site
(nothing to do with telegraphy)

  <http://home.earthlink.net/~rcmcc>

into action.

For the 150th Anniversary of the Telegraph celebration,
my tasks were taking banquet reservations
and photos at the banquet. That was easier. :)

Now I need to scrape the rust off my own CW "skills."

I find myself as the church photographer
and taking photos of all the members and staff.
Processing those need to come next now that
John and X have come to my rescue.
Then... I am working on the history of the
robots in the early 1960s at APL-JHU.
Then ... maybe ... ham radio again.

Sam's friend Gil Gray, now N2GG, has been tracked
to New Mexico, but he is in Fiji at the moment
says Paul Ridley, N5PR.
Maybe he will come back. (Why?)

Cheers, 73,

Ron McC.
