And my one evening's experience showed that the side comments will be
shown to those showing detectable third order intermod products.. E.g.
In a pause between sides of a two way QSO, a third ham will comment
about the drive being too high.

That puts the onus on the transmit signal generation to not have any
audio harmonics with the audio frequency is below 1/2 the transmit
filter upper cutoff when using a SSB transmitter.

But sometimes QRP won't make the contact so more power is required or
the contact simply isn't made.
