Joe, thanks, I have that article.

It gets better than that...

Rick Williams, VE7TK, hosts that article, and I have Rick's former
Omni V.9. That radio is destined to be owned by Ricks. And my copy of
that article is in the rig's manual, put there by VE7TK hisself.

But a subsequent owner undid at least part of that mod, apparently
thinking it reduced the effectiveness of the notch filter. I will have
to explore further and redo it. That said, the clipping distortion I'm
hearing wasn't what I thought was a symptom of the passband intermod
that W3TS was addressing, but that is a stone unturned. And the
reverse mods may have been done poorly, too. Thanks for the reminder
of that issue.
