Thanks Donald, K6RV,  for sharing the Jack Curtis award info with us.  I 
used to get so disgusted with Naval Communications for not sanctioning the 
use of Paddle keying.  All because of an early evaluation of a Mon-key, 
which simply used a couple of relays
I was speed key examiner for three different Navy Type Commanders.  Still 
have my old Vibroplex bug but would of loved to have been able to use a 
paddle keyer.
