Last summer I posted here a description of a problem with my Omni-V:
Sometimes it fails to return to RX at full sensitivity after a
transmission. I received a number of responses, all advising that I
needed to replace the reed relay on the PA filter board which puts the RX
back in the system. I got the relay, and last nite I finally got around
to opening the Omni and doing the job.--SURPRISE! NO RELAY in the
circuit, despite the drawings in the manual. Instead there are a couple
1n4007 diodes (used as PIN diodes, I assume) and a few other parts. Does
anybody have experience with this configuration?? Getting to the board
isn't too bad, but I want a "total" fix as I use the radio in my
mobile/rover contest operations and want to be sure.

Will probably buzz TT service ater this week, but advice from here is
usually on target!!
