I wasn't discussing anything regarding Elecraft.

The suggestion (a criticism, was how I interpreted it) was made that
Ten-Tec should consider acknowledging any and all requests for firmware
upgrades by putting them "on a list" irrespective of whether or not we'd
actually work on them or make them a priority at a later date. I was
pointing out that we'd tried that approach in the past in the first year
or two of the Orion and lived to regret it later when every request for
firmware updates or new features could not or would not be accommodated
-- including rejecting suggestions that were impractical.
